Dr. Abba Garba joined WeBlock as adjunct CTO and will comprehensively coordinate products development and optimization plans
Dr. Abba Garba joined WeBlock as CTO, in charge of the development plan of WeBlock products. Specifically, he will be leading the works in asset on-chain optimization, smart contract code security, and the risk management of WeToken.
Dr.Abba Garba is a PHD at network and information security Laboratory of EECS Peking University and MBA from University of Wales, UK. He has extensive and systematic experiences of research and comprehension in the field of blockchain security and he’s passionate to work in Cryptocurrency/Blockchain technology environment which comprises applications/use cases, ICOs, exchange platforms, Ethereum smart contract solidity, new cryptocurrency or Blockchain application, security and privacy concerns of blockchain technologies etc.
Speaking of why join WeBLock, he said, “When I first learned about WeBlock, I was impressed by its rapid achievements and development in the accelerator field. The entire foundation is very foreseeable about what products should be required in the blockchain field in the future, which coincides with my ideas, so I decided to join in and become a part of it.”
Before joining WeBlock, he had a very entrepreneurial experience, served as the CTO of technical company in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, he led a team of 3 devs to develope projects based on ERC20 that has won the Third Prize winner of Blockchain Hackathon Shanghai in 2015,
and won the First Prize winner awarded in Longhash Hackathon Tokyo, Japan in 2018.
He is a membership of INTICC, IEEE, IACR and a lecturer of FCE research centers, following this , he has attended at the 2019 World Internet Conference and participated in the Alibaba Group Ecological Conference.
The joining of Dr. Abba will inject new vitality into WeBlock in the technical field.
